Abstract
The present invention provides a multi-point swallow detection device, which comprises: a carrier, multiple sensor, a conductor, and a throat band. The carrier has a side that is positioned adjacent to a throat portion of a test subject. The multiple sensors are arrayed in an extension direction and are connected to the carrier so that the multiple sensors are positioned against different locations of the throat portion. The sensors are piezo-capacitive sensors. The conductor is positioned on an opposite side of the carrier to provide a necessary reaction force for the sensors during detection. The throat band functions to fix the carrier and the conductor on the throat portion of the test subject. With the above-described structure, the present invention provides a multi-point swallow detection device having the multiple sensors that may individually detect action and variation of the throat portion when the test subject swallows.
