Abstract

This invention relates to a dual-path pedicle screw with enhanced fixation function, mainly comprising an outer screw sleeve, a main bone screw, and an auxiliary bone screw. The main bone screw comprises a universal screw head and a first cone body and the universal screw head is disposed with a first screw hole and a second screw hole with different inclination angles. The auxiliary bone screw is disposed with an external thread and a second cone body and the external thread is screwed to the first screw hole or the second screw hole, so as to make the main bone screw and the auxiliary bone screw formed with a first angle or a second angle. Accordingly, the main bone screw and the auxiliary bone screw are implanted into the spine to form a dual-path fixation function, so as to reduce the possibility of bone nail loosening or breaking. In addition, depending on the spine surgery portion or the patient's bone condition, the angle of the auxiliary bone screw locking can be selected and the direction of locking the universal screw head can be adjusted to increase the strength and stability of the fixation, which can reduce the patient's wound, shorten the operation time, and reduce blood loss and other effects.
