Disclosed are a portable device of heart status measurement and a method thereof. The method includes: using sensing units to measure electrocardiography (ECG) signals and seismocardiogram (SCG) signals; using a processor provided in the portable device to generate evaluation values; and allowing a transmission unit in the portable device to connect to and transmit evaluation values to an external electronic receiving device via a wireless transmission interface. Thereby, a user can monitor heart status at any time and intermediately know whether the heart status is abnormal.
