This invention relates to an intelligent weight monitoring system and a method thereof, which include a weight measurement module, a signal processing module, and a comparison module. The weight measurement module measures at least a weight of a sickbed having a patient thereon, and generates at least one signal according to the weight measured by the weight measurement module and transmits the signal to the signal processing module. The signal processing module processes the signal to generate a physiological data and transmits the physiological data to the comparison module. The comparison module determines whether the patient has abnormal conditions or not according to the physiological data and generates an abnormality signal accordingly. Family members and nursing staffs of the patient can receive the abnormality signal from the comparison module immediately and take appropriate medical actions according to the abnormality signal.
