Abstract

A device for monitoring water quality and a method for the same is disclosed. By the device comprising a PH sensing circuit and a conductive sensing circuit for detecting PH values and conductivity values of a liquid simultaneously, and generating corresponding sensing signals to an operation processing unit, respectively. By taking the initial values of the PH values and the conductivity values as reference values, water quality of the liquid is monitored by comparison of the lookup table and subsequent sensing values of the PH values and the conductivity values. In the meanwhile, the device for monitoring water quality can be detected by wireless signal detection for checking whether the device is located under water or not.
