The present invention provides a liquid charge quantity detection device and an operation method thereof. The liquid charge quantity detection device is formed by connecting a detection area and a circuit board with a flexible flat cable. The detection area is an insulating substrate, and the circuit board is provided with a sensing chip, a microprocessor, at least two light-emitting elements, an external interface, a display panel, and at least one button. The technical effect of the present invention is that the electric charge is converted into a capacitance so as to detect the quantity of the liquid charge, which accordingly reduces the sample amount, decreases the detection time and increases accuracy.
