A processing system for assisting awake craniotomy comprises a computer device, a camera device, a sound receiving device and a display device. The computer device may instruct the display device to display task questions that are to be answered by a patient, determine, by analyzing voice signals transmitted by the sound receiving device, the time the patient has taken to answer the task questions and the correctness of the answers the patient has provided, and instruct the display device to display information relating to the time and correctness. Further, the computer device may analyze image data received from the camera device to determine a facial condition of the patient, and instruct the display device to display information relating to the facial condition of the patient.
