A monitoring system which includes a plurality of monitoring devices and a server, wherein each monitoring device is provided with a sensing unit for sensing a jogging data of a corresponding user; a storage unit for storing an identity identification data corresponding to the user, and a group identification data having at least one group name. The server receives the jogging data, the identity identification data and the group identification data from the monitoring devices, defines those groups having the same group name stored in the monitoring devices as a sharing group, and transmits the jogging data and the identity identification data of each monitoring device in the sharing group to the remaining monitoring devices in the sharing group, so that each monitoring device in the sharing group displays the jogging data and the identity identification data of the monitoring devices in the sharing group.
