This invention relates to a measurement and evaluation system of abnormal sleeping movement and method thereof, which uses a plurality of accelerometer units and a processing unit to obtain a plurality of limb frequency domain characteristic values, a plurality of limb time domain characteristic values, a plurality of trunk frequency domain characteristic values, and a plurality of trunk time domain characteristic values, and to make calculations in order to obtain differences of any two of those limb frequency domain characteristic values, limb time domain characteristic values, trunk frequency domain characteristic values, and trunk time domain characteristic values, so as to solve the problem of not being able to record the time domain and frequency domain characteristics during the movement state occurrence of the limbs.
