Abstract
A protection method and circuit of surge clamping module able to be used in the surge inhibition of high-frequency circuit I/O end is disclosed, which structurally comprises at least a semiconductor field emission over-voltage protector in forward or forward reverse-polar parallel connection, which is coupled in the front end of high-frequency circuit I/O or in between the output and the grounding. In the normal operation, the semiconductor field emission over-voltage protector is closed and not turned on. When the voltage in the front-end circuit connection exceeds the normal range, one of the semiconductor field emission over-voltage protectors is turned on due to over-voltage so as to generate a low impedance, low capacitance release route to protect circuit from a lightning strike, static electricity or surge.
