A stereo display apparatus and a system are disclosed. The apparatus includes an input unit, a display screen, a micro-retardation film and a processor. The input unit is for receiving a first video signal and a second video signal. The display screen is composed of a plurality of pixels. The plurality of pixels is divided into a first pixel group and a second pixel group, which are for displaying the first video signal and the second video signal respectively. The micro-retardation film has a plurality of first phase delay areas and a plurality of second phase delay areas. Positions of the plurality of first phase delay areas and positions of the plurality of second phase delay areas correspond to a position of the first pixel group and a position of the second pixel group. Moreover, the phase delay for the two areas has a 1/2 wavelength difference. The processor is for combining the first video signal with the second video signal based on the position of the first pixel group and the second pixel group. A combined video signal is then transmitted to the display screen for displaying.
