Abstract
A concentrated solar photovoltaic module is disclosed. Through the use of a Fourier optical condenser to increase the amount of light coupled into the solar cell for increasing the light trapping to improve the power efficiency of solar cell, and the Fourier optical condenser with plastic lens is a small size, lightweight and low cost alternative. In addition, it also discloses that the present invention has improved the output characteristics of solar cells by adjusting either the distance form Fourier optical condenser to the solar cell or the Fourier optical tilting angle of the condenser. Furthermore, the combination of those two adjustment methods is intended to maximize the solar cell output.
