Abstract
An EMG (Electromyogram) signal processing system comprises at least one electrode patch, a signal amplification filtering unit, a microprocessor and a sound aid. The electrode patches are arranged on a user to capture the voltage level changes on the body surface of the user and generate a surface EMG acquisition signal. The signal amplification filtering unit is connected with the electrode patches to receive, amplify and filter the surface EMG acquisition signal. The microprocessor is connected with the signal amplification filtering unit to receive and convert the surface EMG acquisition signal into a digital signal, and determine whether the digital signal is greater than a threshold value. With the above-described structure and method, the present invention allows the change of the electrophysiological signal or the EMG signal to be immediately detected by a nearby caregiver, thereby helping the patient to notify the primary caregiver to provide the care needs and achieving the effect of communication.
