This invention relates to a punching method for polymer resin sheet to accomplish bright punching cross-section having high light transmittance, comprising the steps of: placing an optical light guide element in a punching device before forming, wherein the punching device comprises a multifunctional die holder, a lower die holder, a punching tool, and a heating device, the punching tool is installed below the multifunctional die holder, and the optical light guide element is placed on the lower die holder below the punching tool; next, turning on the heating device to allow heat to act on the working range of the punching tool; making the multifunctional die holder move downward until the punching tool punches off the optical light guide element; and finally releasing the die to complete. This invention applies heat during the punching process to generate melting and solidifying effect on the punching cross-section, capable of obtaining a bright punching cross-section having high light transmittance and effectively enhancing the light transmitting conductivity.
