Abstract
Role transition is considered to range from being an event through to being a center of going professional development depending upon the nature of one’s new position or works. Antecedents of role transition include the personal and the environmental factors. Finally, after the process, two consequences of role transition will be the healthy and the unhealthy role transition. Role transition is a concept that is important to nursing and does help nurses adapt to their new role by understanding the meaning of it correctly.
