Abstract
The present invention is related to an ultra-wideband wireless system. In the invention, the electronic architecture of ultra-wideband pulse generator used in the past is changed into the application of light-based apparatus for generating pulse signal, which is then converted by the microwave differentiator into the Gauss single-cycle pulse emitting signal. The generated pulse signal can provide several giga-hertz (GHz) bandwidth to transmit data at high-speed so as to achieve a novel ultra-wideband wireless system. The system decreases complexity of the electronic-type system, and optical characteristic is used to increase output signal quality, thereby providing considerable progress characteristic. In addition, bandwidth of the signal generated by the invented system is wider and much less generation of ripple characteristics are generated. Furthermore, the range of -10 dB bandwidth is located in the US FCC (Federal communications Commissions) regulation range such that an ultra-wideband optical-fiber wireless extraction network system is successfully realized to reach the goal of seamless access communication.
