Abstract
A method for improving the sensitivity of quantifying tissue properties by an ultrasonic wave is applied to an ultrasonic apparatus, and at least comprises the following steps: emitting an ultrasonic wave; receiving an echo reflected by the ultrasonic wave by the ultrasonic apparatus, and generating at least one radio frequency signal by the ultrasonic apparatus based on the echo and transmitting the radio frequency signal to a computing core; generating a corresponding weighted factor by the computing core based on an amplitude value of the radio frequency signal, respectively; generating a probability density function by the computing core based on the radio frequency signal; calculating a weighted entropy by the computing core by utilizing the probability density function and the weighted factor; and outputting a weighted entropy result to quantify the tissue properties. Accordingly, the sensitivity of the tissue properties may be improved, so that distinguishments for the change in scatter density can be relatively obviously, thereby helping clinical interpretation.
