Abstract

The invention discloses an infusion equipment and a detection method of extravasation. The infusion equipment includes a liquid drive module, a detection module and a controller. The controller can control the liquid driving module to inject the injected liquid provided by the infusion supply module into the living body through the tube and the needle. After the controller control liquid driving module inject the injected liquid into the living body, the controller can execute a blood return detection program, which includes: stopping step: controlling the liquid driving module to stop action; judgment step: control the detection module to detect the state of the section of the tube adjacent to the needle to generate detection information, and then the controller will determine whether the blood of the living body has returned to the tube based on the detection information. If the controller determines that the blood of the living body does not flow back to the section of the tube adjacent to the needle based on the detection information, the controller will determine that extravasation has occurred around the needle, otherwise, the controller determines that there is no extravasation around the needle.
