Abstract
A control method of an exercise monitoring system includes: a processing unit controlling a storage unit to store a detection result of an electrocardiographic signal detection unit, the processing unit calculating a heart rate every predetermined period of time according to the detection result of the electrocardiographic signal detection unit in the past predetermined period of time, and calculating a self-similarity parameter by using a de-trending fluctuation analysis method, the processing unit updating a first cumulative parameter when the self-similarity parameter is smaller than a predetermined threshold, the processing unit calculating a cardiac muscle pressure index positively correlated with the first cumulative parameter according to the first cumulative parameter, and the processing unit outputting an alert message through an output unit when the processing unit determines that the heart rate and the cardiac muscle pressure index have increased successively from the previously calculated heart rate and cardiac muscle pressure index for a predetermined number of times.
