A wearable activity sensing device and its method are disclosed, the device comprising a wristwatch and a sensing component, both of which are installed with a tri-axial acceleration sensor for detecting the change of body posture and activity acceleration values; when the activity acceleration of a wearer exceeds the falling threshold value and the posture detected is laying position, a falling status is determined, where an alarm will be triggered so as to call for emergency healthcare; the user can cancel the notification in the case of a false alarm. During the time other than sleep time, if it is detected that the activity amount of the body and wrist movement is lower than a activity threshold value and the status continues for a specific amount of time, a low activity pre-alarm will be triggered; the alarm will be cancelled if the user resumes activity; otherwise, the alarm will be triggered so as to call for emergency healthcare if no response is received. User can cancel the notification in the case of false alarm.
