Abstract

A control method for an external counter-pulsation system is implemented with a control unit, and includes the following steps: detecting a plurality of QRS complex waves; calculating a heartbeat rate value according to the QRS complex waves; determining a time interval of pressurization according to the heartbeat rate value; calculating a pressurization time point according to the QRS complex waves; and determining whether it is in an abnormal state at least according to the QRS complex waves, and controlling a plurality of pulse pressure bands to stop pressurization and reducing pressure upon determining it is in the abnormal state. The control unit dynamically adjusts the time interval of pressurization, and immediately reduces pressure in an abnormal state, so as to avoid performing pressurization at a wrong time point and jeopardizing the health of the user, thereby providing a safe control method for external counter-pulsation system.
