Abstract
Based on binary coding and prime factorization, an improvement of the single-key-lock method for access control is presented. In our method, each accessor is associated with a key and each resource is associated with a lock vector. Through simple mathematical operations on the corresponding key and lock vector, the system can easily verify the access right for an accessor with respect to the referenced resource. Furthermore, by our improvement, the system can easily handle the dynamic access control problem, such as adding/deleting accessors or resources, without much effort.
