Abstract

A broadband triangular printed monopole is proposed. The antenna is grounded co-planar waveguide (GCPW) fed and fabricated on a 0.8mm thick, low cost FR4 printed circuit board of dielectric constant 4.4 and loss tangent 0.016. It is fabricated and measured for its impedance bandwidth, gain and radiation characteristics.
