Abstract

A dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM)/SCM self-healing architecture for broadband wireless local area networks was discussed. DWDM cooperated with wavelength add-drop multiplexer (WADM) provided large bandwidth and flexible configuration for broadband access networks. The simulated results showed that this architecture can provide a large capacity and excellent reliability for future broadband wireless networks.
