Abstract
In this study, a particle swarm optimization (PSO) based energy management strategy (EMS) for hybrid generation system (HGS) is proposed. The discussed HGS consists of PV arrays, wind turbine, battery bank and utility grids. Detailed descriptions of the system configuration and energy management algorithm will be presented first, and experiments will then be carried out to validate the correctness of the proposed technique. Experimental results validate the effectiveness and correctness of the proposed method.
