Abstract

Cloud computing services, providing access to data storage, software and applications over the Internet, are nearly ubiquitous, allowing users to store and retrieve files from any computer. However, such services are subject to various security concerns in terms of data transfer, software interfaces, stored data, user access control, and data separation. To ensure the security of data sharing and user privacy in cloud storage systems, this paper proposes a secure file storage system providing data privacy, integrity and authentication. The proposed system prevents data from being stolen, modified, and destroyed, and ensures full data recovery in the event of server failure. Moreover, file storage rules can be modified depending on server properties such as availability and capability.
