Abstract

In our study, we used the agent technique to record the users' browsing behavior on the WWW, and dissect the unique user by browser cookie. In order to analyze the users' browsing behavior, we used the automatic text indexing to find out the key-click of user browsing behavior. In the reporting system, we integrated the OLAP (On-Line Analytical Processing) technique, pivot table, and statistic chart to present the user status of the web site. A field experiment was conducted in this study. The subject was an Internet bookstore. Finally, we constructed the prototype system to prove the feasibility of this study.
