Abstract
A case of recurrent massive genital prolapse and urinary stress incontinence is reported following sacrospinous ligament fixation with anterior and posterior colporrhaphy. Abdominal colposacropexy with Burch colposuspension was applied to relieve symptoms, restore the physiologic vaginal axis, maintain sexual function, and restore urinary continence. Short-term follow-up revealed that abdominal colposacropexy for preservation of the uterus in this case yielded good results.
