Abstract

Image hiding, a form of steganography, is a technique to embed the original secret image to another cover image by some encryption techniques. Thus the secret image becomes another meaningful stego-image before transmission. In this paper, an image hiding scheme is proposed, which uses nonuniform quantization to compress image data and a chaotic technique to scramble the secret image. Using these simple and fast steganographic schemes, we can confuse the intruders and prevent the detection of a hidden image.
