Abstract

Microstrip fractal patch antenna was analyzed for multi-band communication system. It was noticed that driven element was the source for the multi-band operation of proposed antenna,and not the parastic fractal elements. The results of multi-band frequency operation were very less affected by the parasitic fractal elements and thus they can be neglected. Finite difference time-domain (FDTD) method was used to analyze the effects of fractal elements.
