Abstract

We present a case of a foreign body retained in the knee joint after a hemovae tube was broken during removal at bedside. The foreign body was successfully extracted arthroscopically. Arthroscopy provides an excellent alternative in the management of this troubling complication, minimizing hospitalization and delay in recovery.
