Abstract
隨著全球化經濟版圖的移動,國內物流運籌服務的業者也面臨了本地市場萎縮以及如何進一步爭取商機的挑戰。本個案以有近七十年歷史的新竹貨運為對象,探討其如何透過E化建設與發展經驗為基礎,積極轉型為一提供整合服務方案的第三方物流運籌業者。新竹貨運的目標,是希望透過HCT全球運籌電子化聯盟的推動,結合物流運籌業者,建立一條龍的整合物流運籌服務能力。透過本個案的教學,期望協助學生對於物流運籌產業所面臨的挑戰、策略聯盟合作以及供應鏈管理相關議題有所瞭解與思考。
As the global economy evolves, local logistics service providers face the challenge of a shrinking local market and therefore need to develop strategies to countervail the situation. This case is on how Hsin Chu Trans, established in 1938 and well-known for its IT infrastructure, transformed into a 3rd-party logistics service provider of integrated logistics services. The goal of HCT was to ally with partners to build an alliance which is capable of providing streamlined integrated logistics services. Through this case, it is hoped that students can gain understanding on the issues of challenges occurring in the logistics industry, strategic alliance, and supply chain management.
