An interview questionnaire was administered to collect information regarding work activities involving manual lifting. The characteristics of the manual lifting that were significant in patients with low-back pain were determined to be experience, object weight, carrying distance, lifting height, frequency, and activities with pulling or pushing. Relevance to industry. The characteristics of occupational activities related to manual lifting were investigated in patients with low-back pain.
