Combining ZF-SVD MU-MIMO and Uplink Physical/ Application Layer Resource Assignment Improves OFDMA Image Quality

Abstract

Previously, the physical/application layer resource assignment for OFDMA reverse link video transmissions has been proposed. To enhance peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), we propose combining it and ZF(zero-forcing)-SVD (singular value decomposition) MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output). The numerical results indicate that, in the case of low SNR, Its PSNR is about 2-4dB better than the ZF case in the case of multiple users.
