Abstract

The authors regret that in the text there is a sentence description that shows similarity with that identified in the paper by Schwartz et al. (“Complex interactions between the microbiome and cancer immune therapy” 2019.). This reference was cited right after the sentence described in the current article. Description of this sentence was as such: “Based on these results, the tumor and gastrointestinal microbiome and immune milieu have been investigated as predictors and influencers of cancer immune therapy, and the prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics, antibiotics and FMT are used to modulate immune therapy.” The authors suggested to revise the description as “Based on these results, new prebiotics, probiotics, postbiotics, antibiotics combinations and FMT approaches are under intensive development to evaluate their roles in influencing the tumor and gastrointestinal microbiome environments and efficacy in cancer immunotherapy.” The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
