Abstract

This paper proposed a creative electric vehicle with Mei-Nong Paper Unnrella. The integrated design concept is based on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, abbreviated as STEM. The STEM concept is originally initiated from education or training of systematic innovation. To integrate the four design concept into the engineering design of electric vehicle, the electric vehicle is design with many scientific and technical functions and colorful cultural elements. The mathematic design is an intelligent Petri-nets control, which is in charge of the rotation of the Mei-Nong Paper Umbrella. The Mei-Nong Paper Umbrella has cultural and colorful elements for the electric vehicle design. By using the Petri-nets based controller, an intelligent control strategy is embedded into the controller. Multi-functional Mei-Nong electric vehicles to meet the human creativity is successfully designed in this paper. A systematic innovation STEM design method has been successfully applied.
