Abstract
The differential diagnosis of cystic lesions of the head and neck is vast. Although the patient's clinical information, lesion location, and lesion appearance on imaging can usually suggest a diagnosis, a lesion that remains uncertain can be made more certain by fine-needle aspiration biopsy or core biopsy. This article reviews the typical image findings of cystic lesions of the head and neck with some examples from our hospital.
