Dispersion management and gain flattened a hybrid EDFA/RFA in pumping recycling mechanism

Abstract

We proposed a hybrid C+L band fiber amplifier bridged with double-pass dispersion compensators. Power equalization among C+L band channels is realized by adjusting the FBGs reflectivity. Pumping efficiency is improved by recycling residual pump power.
