Abstract
Doppler sonography was conducted on two patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) who had obstructive jaundice due to tumor invasion in the biliary system. The two patients with HCC demonstrated the same Doppler signals (continuous waves) from within the tumor, suggesting that Doppler sonography is a useful tool in the detection of such tumor invasion.
