Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows:. The primary objective of this review is to determine whether face-down positioning reduces the risk of retinal displacement following pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) and gas tamponade for macula-involving rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD).
