Abstract
A very fast and accurate method, called the fast Hankel transform (FHT), is employed to evaluate the Sommerfeld integrals for calculating spatial-domain Green's functions of open microstrip structures. The robustness of this method is demonstrated by comparing the results with those obtained by direct numerical integration for distances up to ten free space wavelengths over a broad frequency band.
