Clinically successful dental implant therapy results from careful diagnosis and treatment planning. The parallelism and proper alignment of endosseous implants are of importance for the functional and esthetic success of the prosthesis.1-7 An appropriately fabricated interim denture can be modified with an inexpensive temporary restorative material to act as a surgical stent for presurgical radiographic evaluation.
