Abstract
We present the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) findings in a 26-year- old man with neuro-Behcet's disease (NBD). Initial MRI revealed scattered non-enhancing lesions in the brain stem and thalamus. Repeat MRI during clinical exacerbation showed prominent contrast enhancement and increased extent, with further involvement of the striatocapsular areas. Our patient demonstrated that NBD has a predilection of brain stem involvement and the MRI abnormalities may correlate with clinical manifestations.
