Abstract

The Tenckhoff catheter is most frequently used for continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). Malposition or kinking is one of the leading causes of catheter malfunction. Guide-wire directed manipulation of the malfunctioning catheter is a simple, safe and useful technique.
