Abstract

This paper describes by powder metallurgy route method to make the ∅50mm precursor billets and then to be extruded became to small plate-type precursor (5mmx20mm) billets through extrusion machine, and put into the hallow steel pipe heated metal foaming in furnace, At the steel pipe added Al-foam, Under its total weight slightly increase of the condition, raise or improvement mechanical performance of the door protection steel pipe by the energy absorption.
