Abstract

The past decade has seen the rapid rise of multinationals from developing countries. As multinationals from developing countries continue to grow significantly in number as well as in size, they have to be considered an important factor in global business. This paper examines the operational management and organizational characteristics of Asian TWMNEs using an empirical study. The findings have indicated that Asian TWMNEs are not necessarily different from developed country multinationals per se.
