Abstract

The analysis of the relative frequencies of the histopathologic and immunologic subtypes of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas in Asia reveals a low incidence of follicular lymphomas and a relatively high frequency of T-cell lymphomas. This article emphasizes the clinical features of post-thymic malignancies including adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma in Japan and Taiwan. Childhood non-Hodgkin's lymphomas in Asia are briefly described.
