Abstract

We propose one-dimensional Multi-Method codes (1-D MM codes) in spectral amplitude coding (SAC) optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) networks. The mathematical results and simulation analysis show that the MM codes in terms of the bit-error-rate (BER). The numerical results demonstrate that the 1-D MM codes outperform the existing 1-D approaches in terms of BER, and the data transmission rate can achieve 2.5 Gbps.
