Abstract

A multistage interconnection network (MIN) can be used to connect the processors and memory modules in a tightly coupled multiprocessor system. Previous analyses of bandwidth for MINs are restricted to several specified memory reference models: uniform, favorite and hotspot. In the paper, analysis for MIN bandwidth under general (nonuniform) memory reference model is presented.
