Abstract
Higher education typically falls behind during rapid advancements in modern technologies. More attention needs to be paid to educating the new generation of students to cope with the increasing challenges arising from rapid advancements in microelectronics, computers, and software automation. This article is written to address such challenges and describe some key approaches.
